Our first Sabores CDMX event in Canada was held in the city of Vancouver from December 8th to December 10th, 2016 showcasing traditional and avant-garde dishes from Mexico City´s Cuisine. Chef Gerardo Vázquez Lugo from Nico's took over the kitchen at Cacao, Chef José Manuel Baños from Aguamiel served his special menu at Homer Street Bar and Cafe and Chef Mario Espinosa from La Encomienda delighted patrons at Burdock & Co.
MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL 2016
From October 13 through the 15th, Sabores CDMX took over the kitchens at Heyday, Sea Change, and Monello in the Twin Cities.
This was the first event where we announced our first Sabores CDMX International Ambassador, Chef Jim Christiansen from Heyday. Chef Fernando Martínez of Yuban and Seneri served at Monello and Chefs Diego Niño and Cesar Vázquez of NEXO at Sea Change.
Thanks to the huge success of the first event, Sabores CDMX was held for the second time in Houston from June 30th to July 2th, 2016. Special Menus at our Host restaurants were served for 3 days by Chef Daniel Ovadía and Chef Salvador Orozco at América's, Chef Victor Cabrera Carrillo at Cafe Annie and Chef Israel Montero at Arnaldo Richards’ Picos.
Our first Sabores CDMX event was held in Houston, Texas, from December 10 through December 12, 2015. Patrons at three popular Houston had the opportunity to order special, authentic Mexican menu items from renowned Mexico City chefs
